When I was going to university, I had the opportunity to work in my uncle's manufacturing plant during the school holidays. Not only was this a great source of part-time income, but it also opened my eyes to the way things are made and the number of different machines involved. One thing I was taught from day one was how to work safely in this type of environment, and I have carried those safety tips into my adult career.
